In-person MT sessions
From my MT therapy room in Redland, Bristol UK
I offer in-person sessions at The Redland Practice, a calm and confidential therapy space in the centre of Bristol.
Face-to-face work offers the opportunity to engage creatively and relationally in the room, with the support of musical instruments, sound, and shared presence.

Who is it for?
Music psychotherapy can support you if you're experiencing:

-
Anxiety, low mood, or emotional overwhelm
-
Loss, trauma, or life transitions
-
Difficulties with identity, self-worth or relationships
-
A desire for deeper self-understanding
No musical experience is needed — just a willingness to explore.

What do we do in a session?
Each session lasts either 60 or 90 minutes and unfolds organically. Typically:

-
We begin by talking and setting a focus for the session
-
From there, we may draw on various creative approaches, including:
-
Sound improvisation using accessible instruments
-
Breathing and vocal work
-
Music and imagery techniques
-
Together, we find the pace and style that feel right for you.

Why in-person?
Being together in the same space can offer:

-
A sense of grounded connection
-
Shared use of instruments and space
-
Spontaneous, embodied creative work
-
A different kind of therapeutic presence
A therapeutic process
Every rigorous psychotherapy involves a process. This means:

-
We take time to build trust and understanding
-
Sessions may stir deep or unexpected feelings
-
Growth happens gradually, through regular, committed work
We start with a free 20-minute call to explore whether this feels like the right path for you.
